Global Perspectives Fair 2026
18–22 May · Online event

Inspire. Collaborate. Reflect. Share.

The Cambridge Global Perspectives Fair 2026 will take place from 18 to 22 May 2026, as a fully online event open to all Cambridge International Schools in Latin America and the Caribbean offering Global Perspectives in their curricula — from the latest years of the Primary stage all the way through to Cambridge Advanced.

Now in its fourth year, the event provides a non-competitive platform exclusively for students from registered Cambridge International Schools to showcase their research, teamwork, and communication skills through project presentations that address global issues from diverse perspectives.

Each participating school may present one project per stage (Stage 6, 9, IGCSE, or AS/A Level) and is also encouraged to attend other sessions as active audience members, sharing feedback and reflections with peers across the region and with education professionals from a wide range of countries around the world.

By taking part, schools join a vibrant community of educators and learners exploring how critical thinking, collaboration and global awareness can make a real-world impact.

    • All official event-related updates and requests will be sent exclusively to this lead contact.
  • Final confirmation of attendance must be submitted at least 5 working days before the event.

  • A maximum of one project per school per Stage will be allowed.
  • Schools must ensure reliable internet access and fully functioning devices (laptops or tablets equipped with a working webcam and microphone).
  • All participants are expected to use a microphone of sufficient quality to guarantee clear and audible communication throughout the session. The use of lapel or lavalier microphones is strongly recommended, as these offer better audio clarity.
  • Schools must ensure access to the event platform (e.g. Zoom, Teams) and have any required software installed, tested, and updated in advance.
  • A test connection session may be scheduled prior to the event, and schools are expected to attend to identify and resolve any technical issues ahead of time.
  • Participants must join from a quiet, well-lit space to minimise distractions, ensure good visibility, and maintain a professional atmosphere.
    • Poor lighting, background noise, or malfunctioning audio may affect the quality of the presentation and can result in the school’s participation being compromised.
  • Schools are responsible for making sure all participants strictly adhere to these technical requirements, as they are essential to the smooth running of the Global Perspectives Fair.

All participants are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism throughout the event. This includes:

  • Respectful communication with peers, presenters, and organisers at all times.

Schools are responsible for briefing all students and staff on these expectations prior to the event.

  • Participants must join from a quiet, well-lit space, ensuring a professional and distraction-free environment. Speaking from classrooms or any other location with background noise is strictly discouraged and may compromise the quality of the presentation.
  • Microphones should be kept muted when not speaking, and cameras should remain on for the duration of the session, unless otherwise instructed by the organisers.
  • Any behaviour or technical setup that disrupts the session may lead to intervention by the Cambridge event team and could impact the school’s participation.
  • Teachers are not permitted to speak on behalf of students or deliver any part of the presentation during the event. The presentation must be led exclusively by the students involved in the project.
  • Students must present live. Recorded videos cannot replace the live presentation, but short videos (up to 2 minutes) may be included to illustrate relevant aspects of the project.
  • As with any presentation, rehearsing is strongly recommended to ensure clarity, fluency, and confidence.
  • Teachers are encouraged to support students beforehand by helping them refine their choice of words and pronunciation, particularly for frequently used terms within their projects.
  • Reading directly from a script is highly discouraged, as presentations should reflect students’ understanding and engagement with their work.
     Safeguarding and supervision
  • Schools are responsible for ensuring appropriate supervision of students during the event.
Any safeguarding concerns must be reported immediately to the event organisers.

     Accessibility and inclusion
  • Schools should inform organisers of any accessibility needs (e.g. captions, screen reader compatibility) at least 2 weeks before the event.
